Ten declared compounds. Every dose defensible. Every claim traceable.
LIMINATE composes cognitive activation rituals under a single rule : we do not sell what a study does not support. What follows is the traceable ground of LUCID — ten actives, cited to primary peer-reviewed research, mechanism to dosage. Where the science is thin, we say so. This document is dated, signed, and kept.
Acetyl-L-Tyrosine
Tyrosine crosses the blood-brain barrier and is enzymatically converted to L-dopa, then dopamine — a neurotransmitter central to focus, motivation and stress resilience. The acetylated form (N-Acetyl-L-Tyrosine) is included for improved bioavailability under cognitive demand.
- Deijen JB, Wientjes CJ, Vullinghs HF, Cloin PA, Langefeld JJ. Tyrosine improves cognitive performance and reduces blood pressure in cadets after one week of a combat training course. Brain Res Bull. 1999;48(2):203-9.

L-Phenylalanine
Essential aromatic amino acid, precursor to tyrosine and by extension to catecholamines (dopamine, norepinephrine). Included as a slow-release complement to Acetyl-L-Tyrosine, sustaining catecholamine synthesis across the working window.
- Fernstrom JD, Fernstrom MH. Tyrosine, phenylalanine, and catecholamine synthesis and function in the brain. J Nutr. 2007;137(6 Suppl 1):1539S-1547S.
Citicoline (CDP-Choline)
Endogenous compound that yields choline and cytidine on hydrolysis, supporting phospholipid synthesis (phosphatidylcholine), neural membrane integrity, and cholinergic transmission. Documented for attention and frontal-lobe bioenergetics.
- McGlade E, Locatelli A, Hardy J, Kamiya T, Morita M, Morishita K, Sugimura Y, Yurgelun-Todd D. Improved attentional performance following citicoline administration in healthy adult women. Food Nutr Sci. 2012;3(6):769-773.

Uridine Monophosphate
Pyrimidine nucleotide that supports synthesis of phosphatidylcholine and other membrane phospholipids via the Kennedy pathway, complementing Citicoline. Preclinical models associate uridine repletion with increased dopamine release and synaptic protein density.
- Cansev M, Wurtman RJ, Sakamoto T, Ulus IH. Oral uridine-5'-monophosphate (UMP) increases brain CDP-choline levels in gerbils. Brain Res. 2005;1058(1-2):101-108.

Rhodiola Rosea
Arctic adaptogen documented for stress-related fatigue and mental endurance. Active markers rosavines and salidroside modulate the HPA axis and monoamine turnover under prolonged cognitive load.

Affron® Saffron Extract
Patented saffron (Crocus sativus) extract standardised to Lepticrosalides®, studied for mood stability and cognitive calm under pressure. Randomised placebo-controlled trials document effects on anxiety and depressive symptomatology within four weeks.

Anhydrous Caffeine
Trimethylxanthine, adenosine receptor antagonist. LUCID uses a controlled micro-dose (70 mg — approximately one espresso) precisely paired with L-Theanine in a 1:3.6 ratio, following the amplitude documented in the Owen et al. combined-effect literature.

L-Theanine
Amino acid γ-glutamylethylamide native to Camellia sinensis. Documented for alpha-wave induction and attenuation of caffeine-induced arousal without loss of alertness. LUCID composes the 1:3.6 caffeine-to-theanine ratio scientifically reviewed by Owen et al.
