1. Introduction
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern the use of the liminate.com website ("the Site") and the purchase of products sold by LIMINATE SRL ("we", "us", "LIMINATE") to customers ("you", "the Customer").
By placing an order or using the Site, you accept these Terms in full. If you do not accept them, do not place an order and do not use the Site.
2. Products
LIMINATE currently sells LUCID, a food supplement in capsule form, and companion books published under the LIMINATE Library imprint. Product descriptions, ingredients, and prices are shown on each product page.
Food supplement notice: LUCID is a food supplement and not a medicinal product. It does not treat, cure, or prevent any disease. See the precautions section on the LUCID product page and consult your physician if you have any medical condition, take medication, or are pregnant or breastfeeding.
3. Orders
An order is placed when you complete checkout and receive an order confirmation by email. The order confirmation acts as the sales contract between you and LIMINATE.
LIMINATE reserves the right to refuse or cancel an order in cases of suspected fraud, resale-oriented purchasing, error in pricing display, or unavailability of stock.
4. Prices
Prices are shown in Euros (€), including VAT where applicable. Shipping costs are shown at checkout before payment.
LUCID pricing:
- One-time Edition: €100 per box (20 sachets, no recurring delivery)
- The Commitment subscription: €80 every 4 weeks (Founders rate preserved as long as your Commitment remains active — first 2,500 members)
5. Subscription — The Commitment
5.1 The Commitment is an indefinite-duration subscription contract. It consists of the automatic delivery of one box of LUCID every 28 days at the Founders rate of €80 including VAT, reserved for the first 2,500 members.
5.2 The first payment is charged on the day of subscription. Subsequent payments are charged automatically every 28 days, the day before shipment.
5.3 — Cancellation and pause. The Commitment can be paused, skipped, modified, or cancelled at any time, without penalty, without fees, and without justification, directly from your Member account or by written request via our contact form (subject: "Commitment").
Cancellation takes effect immediately for future deliveries. Any box already shipped remains due and follows the standard Refund Policy (30-day money-back guarantee for unopened boxes).
No clawback. No termination fee. No hidden charges. Price transparency is a commitment of the House.
5.4 — Founders rate. The Founders rate of €80 is preserved for as long as your Commitment remains active. If you cancel and later resume the subscription, the rate applied at resumption is the public rate in effect at that time. Founders status is not conserved after cancellation.
5.5 — Charter alignment. In accordance with our Charter of Refusals, LIMINATE refuses to apply cancellation penalties, clawback charges, or lock-in mechanisms. Members are free to leave at any moment — this freedom is part of what defines the House.
6. Payment
Accepted payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Shop Pay, Klarna, PayPal, Bancontact, Maestro, UnionPay. Payments are processed by PCI-DSS certified processors. LIMINATE does not have access to your banking details.
7. Right of Withdrawal (EU 14-day)
Under Article VI.47 of the Belgian Code of Economic Law, you have 14 calendar days from the receipt of your order to exercise your right of withdrawal, without justification and without penalty other than return shipping costs.
Voluntary extension: LIMINATE offers a voluntary 30-day money-back guarantee that extends this legal minimum. See our Refund Policy for full conditions.
Exception for food supplements: Under Article VI.53 of the Belgian Code of Economic Law, the right of withdrawal does not apply to sealed food supplement products whose seal has been broken after delivery. Consequently, an opened box of LUCID cannot be returned. Unopened boxes may be returned within the 30-day window. To exercise your withdrawal right, send us a message via our contact form with your order number (subject: "Withdrawal"). Refund is processed within 14 days of receipt of the returned product.
You may use our model withdrawal form for this purpose. Its use is optional.
8. Delivery
8.1 LIMINATE ships to: Belgium, France, Netherlands, Luxembourg, Germany, and Ireland.
8.2 Shipping is free of charge across the European Union — always, at every price point.
8.3 Expected delivery time: 2 to 4 business days after order confirmation for standard purchases. First delivery for pre-orders: October 30, 2026.
8.4 Delivery is carried out by DPD, bpost, or an equivalent carrier chosen by LIMINATE.
9. Warranty and Liability
9.1 All LUCID product is manufactured under EU GMP certification, notified to the FAMHP, and third-party tested for purity and dosage accuracy.
9.2 The Customer benefits from the legal warranty of conformity under Articles 1649 bis and following of the Belgian Civil Code.
9.3 LIMINATE's total liability, regardless of the legal basis, is limited to the total amount paid by the Customer during the twelve (12) months preceding the incident.
10. Precautions and Medical Warnings
LUCID is a food supplement. It does not replace a balanced diet or a healthy lifestyle. LUCID is not suitable for: pregnant or breastfeeding women; individuals under 18 years of age; individuals with cardiovascular conditions, arterial hypertension, hyperthyroidism, severe anxiety disorders, or chronic sleep disorders; individuals on medication (antidepressants, MAOIs, anticoagulants, thyroid treatments, stimulants) — consult your physician first.
Do not exceed the recommended daily dose: 3 capsules per day, in the morning with a glass of water. Do not consume in the late afternoon or evening due to the caffeine content (70 mg per serving).
In case of any adverse effect (tachycardia, insomnia, anxiety, persistent headache), discontinue immediately and consult a healthcare professional. Report any incident via our contact form (subject: "Incident") and, if necessary, to the Belgian Poison Control Center (070 245 245).
11. Personal Data
The processing of personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy, in compliance with the GDPR and the Belgian law of 30 July 2018. You have rights of access, rectification, erasure, portability, and objection, exercisable via our contact form (subject: "Data").
12. Intellectual Property
All content on the Site (trademarks, logos, texts, images, videos, sound, layout, source code) is the exclusive property of LIMINATE SRL or its partners. Any reproduction, representation, modification, or exploitation, even partial, is strictly prohibited without prior written authorization.
13. Claims and Dispute Resolution
13.1 For any claim, use our contact form (subject: "Claim"). We respond within 7 business days.
13.2 In case of a dispute not resolved amicably, the Customer may refer the matter to the Belgian Consumer Mediation Service (mediationconsommateur.be) or to the European Online Dispute Resolution platform (ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr).
13.3 In the absence of amicable resolution, the courts of Brussels have exclusive jurisdiction. The applicable law is Belgian law.
14. Modification of the Terms
LIMINATE reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. The version applicable to a given order is the one in effect at the time of order placement.
For active subscriptions, any substantial modification will be notified to the Customer by email at least 30 days before entry into force, with the option to cancel without penalty during this notice period.
